Pointless and time consuming BS

Put your damn Pinterest pins in the right category!  If I'm following half a dozen boards on home design, I really, really don't care about your dozen pins for low-carb foods tagged "Beautiful living spaces."    And while I'm at it, get off my lawn,  you damn kids!   Old age strikes again!!

My father passed away at 5:15 AM on Wednesday, March 27.  He was 86.  We were with him when he died.  He lived a long and full life, and I think, a good one.  He was happy and healthy up until the end, and was still occasionally working as recently as last Fall.  I just wanted to post.  Please keep us in your prayers, if you're the praying type, and in your hearts if you are not.  You guys have always been a comfort, and it helps to know you are there.  Love you all!

Just got my order of glitter-bomb polishes from kbshimmer and had to slop some on my nails.  Yes, at work.  And apparently I am 12 years old because I had a moment of ooooohhhh.. shiny!!

I'm strangely OK with that.

and I am so FREAKING exhausted.

I haven't posted in, wow... a long time.  Things have been, well, let's just say "interesting" and leave it at that.  Actually, my life kind of went to shit, and I came close to making some bad decisions, but I think things just might be OK now.  Or at least headed slowly in the right direction. 

You know, I'll be 50 at the end of this year, and maybe that's what triggered everything in my head.  I can't believe I've gotten this old.  Sometimes I feel it, and sometimes I just have to ask myself, "Really?  50?  REALLY?"

Anyway, no long-winded stories.  I just wanted to check in with you guys.  Everyone doing OK? Everything good?  Loving life?  I hope so, for all you guys. 

And Tizzy, I have to mention that I think of you every time I watch "The Walking Dead."  Georgia.  Rural Georgia at that.   I just love it.

I also want to be able to pay my rent, so tht's pretty much not going to happen.

I want to see the latest seeries of Dr. Who, even though I don't love Eleven, but I can't find it free anywhere and I can't afford to buy it.  Likewise I still haven't see any of Torchwood since COE.   OH, and aren't there more episodes of Sherlock? I had the first 3, back on the Doomed Computer. Now I can't find them online.  (looking back over this before I posted, I had typed...  "I had the first 3, bacon the Doomed computer...  bacon?  seriously?  mmmmmm.....  BACON!!!)

"Download a torrent!" people say, and I would.  I've tried, actually.  But install the stupid thing, and can't figure out how to work it for CRAP.  I mean, I'm not a genuis, but am I really this dumb?  And when I finally do THINK I might have found what I'm looking for, I become terrified of the LAPTOP-EATING-VIRUS-FROM-HELL, and just back out of everything.   

And as for just "finding thigns"... ever since I've had this laptop, I just don't feel the love. I'm pretty sure it's mutual.  I don't know what the hell's up, because it's the same GOOGLE, dammit.  It just seeme like I can't finda nything, and either this lapdesk is just a really bad angle, or my keyboard sucks.  Cheap-ass computer.  *signs*

And shut up, updates!  I just updated you not half an hour or go.  You should have gone before we left home.  AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!  Don't make me turn this harddrive around.....

Sometimes...  well, a lot of times actually, I really, really HATE my life.  Just...  *screams*

So apparently it would be more expensive to fix my laptop than it would be to replace it, so the service co. is debating whether they will be sending me a new one ( i hope) or a check for the pro-rated value.  The check would REALLY piss me off, because there is no way in hell I can replace it for what they would give me for it. 

I'm a little sick right now....  GRRRR!


ETA:  And Office Depot just called.  They're mailing me a gift card for $849.00.  *sighs*  Suggestions on laptops in that price range, people?  Well,  more like $600, because the warranty, which I will buy again was $159, and there's tax, of course....
